I feel like I contributed to the war now

Basically I saw my first Lufwaffe attack

August 1940 Just before I reach my patrol zone BF 24 departing from Kiel. I spot a convoy and Im already in attack postion. I send in a contact report and dive to PD. Using the observation scope and 8 TC I watch the convoy come close, and then I see what looks like two Blue (friendly) Warships on the map, Im like WTF?

Baxk to real time, I look through my scope and see two Condors making a bombing run on a C2 and set it ablaze. Then one got pwned by the escort and started smoking so they high tailed it out of there.

Out of that convoy I sunk a T2, a T3, and a C2 cargo. But man it was really awesome to finally see a friendly air strike

In my young and stupid days of patroling, I desided to explore the English Channel and all its fine Destroyers. I ended up staring down the throut of a Fowler Corvette. I fired my torp but I was wounder why it was firing it's MGs in the air and not at me. Then I saw the outline of a ME 110 through my scope. They gave that corvette hell but one of the 110's got down. Then BOOM! No more Corvette. I bet those pilots wondered where the hell that shot came from!

Yeah man, the Luftwaffe boys helped me one day. Two JU's dive bombed a stupid torpedo boat. I was like, holy crap, my watch is screaming out aircraft spotted. I crashed drive thinking British boys. I hear explosion and see the PT boat come out of the water, flip and sink. My God was I suprised. Really cool mod!

I sure as hope GWX damage model is worth it. In GW , i had a 7000 ton large cargo takin 3 torpedo hits on Impact mode , and then sinking by flooding ...now that's adding insult to injury.

Of course, i reloaded the game and tried the magnetic mode technique, aim under the keel, this time she went to pieces with 1 torpedo. Hopefully, GWX will make impact torpedoes more better.

P.S : AvgWarHawk , is it a bad link, or is ur homepage set to that of Subsim (???)

Trust me GWX has a brilliant damage model. You will see loads of fireworks, loads of ships flooding and the torpedoes are really up for the job (in more ways than one)

You will be blown away, along with the British Merchant Fleet
