Default Freeview in compartments

Hi,

I have searched the forums and it seems that shift+F2 should activate freecam to fly freely around the compartments (command room, conning tower or radio room) but when I try it in, for example, radio room, it puts me back to the command room, so I can't never see freely these others compartments. There is another key to allow freecam in these?

Tx

Correct you can definitely cross rooms. I recommend using the hatches to cross walls fast. It happend to me more than once, that the game crashed when I was in a wall.

Have fun ghosting around!

Don't ghost around to much you might find Bernard doing something other than hot bunking.

You can free view through the hatch to the radio room, or up into the conning tower, but be careful; not only can the game crash but you can also get stuck inside the walls:

Tx for answers but when I cross a wall what I found is just a completely black world very easy to be lost in.

How do you can go to next compartments (I'm thinking on the sub types with separate compartments for radio-sonar room of course)

EDIT: I have found that really if you keep going in the dark space I reach the other compartments!

Wonderful. A pity that only these ones are modelled. I really hope that they have modelled all u-boat in SH4!!

I think it was originally planned to model the whole sub. Would explain why ur cursor becomes red over the hatch to the fore/aft compartments.
