NYGM_ver2.2, 100% realism
Mid 1943. Before starting mission 13 I loaded the IXD2 mod (torpedo and range fix) by Von Helsching. Sonar Destroyed message appeared when I started the mission, but the unit worked. Checked # of torpedo's, 26, Checked range, 40k+. I left Lorient. I just ended my 13th mission (74 days, 56k tonnage sunk). While in mission 13 (6th-7th save) the conning tower disappeared while in the F-7 screen and did not return after subsequent saves and loads. After outfitting my IXD2 with a snorkle and torpedo's I returned to the main screen, and began loading for mission 14. At the very end of the load (cusor) the program crashed. Tried it 4-5 more times, continued to crash. Error Signature in dialog box says its SH3 sim.act. Has anyone had the same problem, and how can I get it fixed? Any help on this matter is appreciated! Sidenote: 1943+ is hell. |

The Torpedo and Range Fix was made for the stock game and / or with Harbour Traffic 1.47. Using it with any other mod combination will cause crashes and problems. In any case I think that NYGM includes fixes both for the torpedos and the range of the IXD2, and the silly embedded_in_Bordeaux_pens stock bug. But one of the developers of NYGM can verify that for sure. Please, rollback SH3Crd and uninstall the IXD/2 Fix via JSGME. And next time, read the readme first! Von |
