Default Grey Wolves - night-time darkness

How can you adjust the night-time darkness when using the GW mod?

It is just way too dark for my poor eyes.

Thanks a ton in advance.

You can try perhaps the Light Atmosphere mod instead of one of the dark ones. It's part of the optional installs, just run the install again and choose it.

Brighten the screen also. If you have a program for you video card to change gamma/contrast etc. Try that.

I always thought that the "light model" was for light monitors and that the dark was for dark ones. Meaning that if your monitor is fairly dark that the light atmousphere mod makes everything lighter. And vice versa.

The 'Light' version is supposed to be for those who can't see anything. The 'Dark' version is for those of us for whom a dark, cloudy night looks like daylight.

Unlike almost everybody else, no matter what I do it's never dark enough.

Well, if you look at your monitor, there should be a button labelled "Brightness"...

My monitor is old and the brightness settings are constantly at 100. So the Light mod is a bit darker than a I can handle. Add to that the glare from lights in the room (family computer in the far end of the living room) and seeing anything at night is hopeless.

Though I have been dabbling with the brightness settings of my video card. That's my best hope right now.

I suppose I am lucky in that I can play in a darkened room
Got myself a Saitek keyboard that lights up so have no trouble hitting "C" in an emergency :rotfl:

My nights look the same as Sobers anyway
