On my 16th patrol (1942) I finally saw a Sunderland! Until this time I've only seen Hurricanes, which isn't historically correct, isn't it?

I keep seeing Sunderlands in packs. Try 8 of them all doing boomb runs on you.

If you have survived an attack by a squad of B24 you know what's scary...

The Grey Wolves mod teaches you proper respect for allied bombers.

Worse yet, with GWX, we risk seeing planes with rockets and torpedoes.

Is it just me, or am i the only one that never had an attack of group of B24's that actually hit anything? The Short Suntherlands and catalina's are more dangerous imo.

Default Well!!!

In stock SHIII with patch 1.4 and no mods, before i installed GW, i had 15 Suntherlands in formation heading toward me, i dove quick as i can(IXB type)... some bombs hit it, but doesn't hurt me bad(played without realistic damages)...

Now i am close to 42, so far no planes, but i know they will show up.... hopefully not all of 15 suntherlands try to hit 1 lousy sub(MOI), that little overreact...

With Fidos? They sent me to the bottom quite often in AOD.

The supermods try to make it more realistic. In real life planes the size of Sunderlands travelled in groups of 1. In real life, one was enough.

I live in fear of B-24's!! They have hugh bomb loads and often loft them at you while staying out of gange of your guns.

I hate the B-24. Actually, if someone came into the room while I play SH3 and say "B-24" I would probably hit the c-button out of sheer reflex.
