Default Seawolves Expansion Pack

I have my SH3 patched to 1.4 and the Grey Wolves mod installed along with various other little mods, I would like to install the SeaWolves expansion pack also, would this cause any problems with the game with all these mods?

Ummmmm try doing a search on the forums for X1, Seawolves, and motherf**ers.

The result would be a bunch of threads of the community spitting at commercial developers stealing the ideas of the community's hard work.

@ sonicninja

I'm sorry for the outburst, but if you search around a little, you will find that temperatures get very high when this "so called" exp pack is discussed.

It has been brought up many times and as such we rather abruptly reply to these issues.

You weren't to know this and I appologise.

GW is vastly superior, stay with that. Besides GWX will be out v.soon.

From what I've read I recall hearing that Seawolves apparently adds single missions in the Pacific but that the core game is the same. Same dynamic Atlantic campaign.

Everything that you could possibly need can be found through this forum.

Which is why seawolves/X1 came here to pinch them

You don't need Seawolves. Put GW on your computer and you'll have the experience of a lifetime GW has everything you need and if what I'm hearing is correct GWX (comming soon to a mirror near you ) is going to be even better!!! So why bother with Seawolves???

Obviously you can do whatever you want but that's my opinion

Good Luck and Good Hunting

i will research further into what the expansion actually gives before i consider buying it, i was looking at the possibliity of adding it to my SH3.
I tried downloading the UBOAT WAR ACE campaign from a link given in one of the subsim forums but i couldnt install it as my pc doesnt recognise the Z file or somthing like that

Question: What about "Battle in the Med." Expansion? Is that from GW too?

'Duck for Cover'

This is released by the same company

The bit's 'aquired' by X1 were not nessesarily all from GW. It's just that they stole peoples work & sold them as their own

This has been covered in great depth before. Please have a search around, you will find all that you need to know about this issue.
