Default Too dumb to know how to use the TGW clock

Running TGW. On the nav screens there is a clock in a wooden frame. This clock can be pulled down and moved. Looks nice but how do I use it? is this a separate stopwatch? How does this clock work?

Nav screens stopwatch is only a repeater. You can start and stop the watch on UZO and periscope views.

As stated above. I usually do not use it and push it up and out of the way. It is useful if your not in a screen with the clock that originally came with the game.

The only real use I have for it is to lower it before going to external view, to keep track of running times and estimated impact times.

It's the stop watch from the UFO and the attack periscope. You can go to an outside view and pull it out, checking how long till the torp hit. Once you pull it out, it's always there, so you always know when you torpedo is going to hit

The idea behind it I think is that the watch that would have been used wouldn't have been welded to the periscope and could have been carried around with you. Having it while on the bridge is useful for determining if a torpedo has hit or missed while perhaps manoevering. Also while on the NAV map you can track a 3.15 plotting measurement while drawing your lines and whatnot. Overall it is very useful to me.

For the hardcore realists yes you have a point but to the general "Sink anything thats red on the Nav map" player the watch is much less useful I myself have yet to use it.
