Hi all.
I currently model German items in another program, and would like to learn what is necessary to model of SHIII, attached are a few shots to let you know a few items I made. Format is Gmax. but would love to learn what format is needed, and how to write the necessary files, and animations. Model currently only for Aurans trainz program. The 3D format used in SHIII is .obj, inside .dat files in the Sea folder. The program Pack3d is used to export and import .obj from / to the .dat, and also clone existing units. Make a search in this forum using the keyword Pack3d to get started. Nice Models! Von |

ahoy mate
nice models u are xperienced with GMAX? try 3dmax too... u could join a team and make accurate models for sh3 or be independent :> but first u need to learn how to mod sh3 follow VonHelsching advice :> |
