I don't know if this has been asked before. My question is, what is best for a patrol? Being at surface with an officer watch, or submerged listening with the hydrophones?
Right now, I use to submerge at ahead slow most of the time, venting and recharging at night to avoid the curious eyes from sea and air; but, would it be better to be on surface and use Mark I eyeballs? Thanks in advance.
