Default Visual Sensors for Uboat watchcrew

Hi there, I was wondering what cfg. file edits the distance where my watchcrew can visually sight an airplane to give me a few more seconds reaction time so I can crash dive?
I play Onealex's compilation mod and he has his settings higher/more hardcore then normal GWX. I'm dying every campaign by air attacks which they seemingly are right on top of me every time with no time to react and dive. I asked him but he doesn't know which file, i'm thinking its the SIM.cfg or sensors.cfg file, any help would be much appreciated.

I know I have to make the changes in these two files for visual settings but just don't know what values (I only want to change the watchcrew sighting airplanes sooner)

ANY ASSISTANCE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED

If I am not mistaken that info is controlled by the Sensors.DAT file in data/Library path.

Ohh man that sucks, I don't know what program you can use to edit that sensors.dat file, I wanted to do it through the cfg files if possible because its much easier through notepad ++.

You could look at the config file Airstrike.cfg. Compare to to your GWX copy and make your adjustments.

Good hunting,

I think you misunderstand, most people seem to think adjusting that airstrike.cfg file fixes detection or edits it, you couldn't be more wrong (If i wanted to see less airstrikes happen then yes that's the right one). That airstrike .cfg only edits the frequency that airstrikes happen or the chance they will pick you up from radio message, distance the planes can go etc. That has nothing to do with sensors or your watch crew sighting it faster when your using TC. I still want everything the same frequency and campaign wise with just a small edit of my watch crew sighting them a little sooner which has to do with visual settings in either SIM.cfg (for enemy or all other AI), sensors.cfg (only for your U-boat and AI crew) or sensors.dat (affects both your AI and rest of AI in game).
