i wonder why the big compass apears...yes thats right a drag handle will come in the future for that one....there is a button in the lower left Console to toggle the big compass...

Even here the question...is this a clean installation of sh5?

Please give me some feedback about that

I an same as driffers63 it not a clean install. your ver 2.0 worked perfect before I installed 3.0 ref the big compass none of the button would remove it

I think that may be the Problem at all, that there may be some parts of other mods left in the game folder wich causes the problems.

I use a complete clean installation and does not have any of the problems.
i just tested it with the schleichfahrtmod by uekel and had no problems with the combination with other mods.

please try to make a new installation if you have the time and feedback the result please.

Default JSGME playing around again, or?

Hi all,

What you're discussing here sounds very much like what happened to me a couple of times.

The JSGME can get fed up with doing its job and simply mess things up.
Even if you're running just one mod the JSGME install might have gone corrupt and won't work correctly.
Especially if your JSGME install has been working hard for some time with a lot of activating/deactivating of mods.

Without knowing more in detail what is happening I'd suggest you have a look at the How to Fix Mod Soup Issues by Webster

Can't say if this is the answer to your issues but it could be worth a try.

since activating V3, cant keep boat at correct depth, either sinks and destroys boat or i blow ballast and surface, but wont go to like 80m and stay....is there something i'm doing wrong
please help

Hi fromhell I had the same problem with V2 I could go to 100 meter if any deeper I would sink to the bottom unless I was going flank speed. I also was using OH2 so I wasnt sure which mod was doing it

Hey mate I tried silent steel way and a clean installed. I started a new campaign with v30 only and still got the compass in both mode after a few min of play. I went back to v2.0 and had no problem. I will wait for awhile and see what happen before I try 3.0. keep up the great work LW

Hey Mate,

i am very happy to read that you have been successfull...
about the mods an their order there i don't have any experience yet.

i just played around with the schleichfahrt mod by uekel with no problems...

but i think you should have a look at the mod list sober has created. think you have only to leave out the tdw ui mod...then everything will work...

Please let us know if this 'depth keeping fix' does the trick. Could be useful to know.
I've never had this depth keeping issue so I can't check it myself.
