Default wrong readings with sextant in Wolves of steel

Since i dont want to necro a 3 years old thread i will just ask like this. I hope its ok.

Using wolves of steel megapack. (properly installed)
Using sextant to measure my position at the start of the Historical mission: Balloon test mission 14 oct 1939 12:00 GMT
REAL Location N 58°57' W 2°59'

12:00 GMT

Readings: Altitude 21°56'
Zenith: (89°60' minus 21°56') =68°4'
Sun declination for 14 oct 1939 :south 7°54'
My latitude: zenith minus declination =61°50' (that's way off)

what am i doing wrong?
Could this be due to my screen resolution (aspect ratio) : 16:9
Wolves of steel default aspect is set to 16:9.

let me check it cos for me the sextant work great and all celestial objects are 99.9 accurate.

Edit:

the sun position at that date is at azimuth +164 degree and and altitude of 23.10 degree
so 89.6-23.10-7.54 = 58.96 this one without any sextant correction

PS.i have check it also with stellarium and is 99.9% accurate

Did you check it in the Historical mission: Balloon test mission?
There might be a problem with Historical mission dates. The ones showing 11:00 GMT actually start at 23:00 GMT (but its day, and sun is in the sky)
Maybe i should not use Historical mission for this exercise.
Here is what i get in Balloon test mission.

Test it in the campaign please. Time in single missions is somewhat strange.

16:9 1920x1080

I think the problem is that i did not calculate corrections for the apparent local noon, and instead was blindly measuring at 12:00.
I will try to do those corrections and see what Ill get.

according to stellarium the sun at that date must be at 43.09 degree and the declination is 7.49..... on this computer i don't have sh5 installed but till tomorrow evening i will do also some testing with twos and my modlist which one is based on sober mod list and i will let u know....

a really good videos about celestial navigation

PS. Try to measure from the middle of the sun i think that tdw has changed something in camera.dat since i have made that navigation tutorial i am not sure or my memory's is playing with me now ....

What does Set Reference Azimuth do? I noticed clicking that has a different effect, but how to use it?
