The Wolves of Steel 1.03_Patch 1 changelog:

Snapshot changes:
- RPM inertia patch, adjustment
- Disabled 60 m/s wind patch

Other tweaks:
- Waves settings for max 15m/s wind speed
- Disabled "object linked to" function in shorkels zon files in order to prevent CTD's
- Tweaked AI detection abilities, Init.aix file
- minor changes to menu.txt file

Added mods:
- Added missing documentation for included mods
- Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Hinged Snorkel_CTD Fix

Instalation: (For people who already using TWoS 1.03, if you're new user then install instructions for TWoS 1.03 are adequate for you)

1. Strat JSGME found in main SH5 folder and drag content of the archive into available mods area.
2. Enable patch 1 with JSGME after the main TWoS 1.03 megamod, JSGME list should look like this:
The Wolves of Steel 1.03
The Wolves of Steel 1.03 - Patch 1
The Wolves of Steel - *x* Resolution Patch
The Wolves of Steel 1.03 - TDW Real Navigation

3. Start TDW generic patcher and restore Snapshot found in "SH5/TDW_GenericPatcher_v_1_0_168_0/Snapshot" folder.
4. Happy hunting!

*Note for users whose already sailing TWoS 1.03: If you're experiencing sudden increase of random CTD's especially when encountering AI units after the patch is enabled, please report issue in TWoS home thread...

Sweet stuff.
It's commendable how well you maintain this huge mod.

SH5 came a looong way to Tipperary err I mean it came a long way from the thing I player after it released.

I just came back from a long break from subsim and SH, decided to give SH5 a new go since I figured the modding community must've fixed the game by now, and I found this gem!
Sadly, I run into CTD when starting new campaign, on loading screen.
Followed the installation guide step by step.
Stock SH5 runs smoothly.
Any chance for some troubleshooting help?

Edit: Fixed the problem. Apperently my game didn't fully patch to 1.2 at first.

Just like MX, I came back from a long time running silent.

One of the things i remembered was spending countless nights installing hundreds of mods before i could even play, just to find out the soup was buggy as hell.

This mod is certainly a relief! Works like a charm, without problems so far (played around 4 hours now).

which is the better mod...wolves of steel or wolves from the deep...i guess there pretty close to the same...but i sure like those periscope magui interfaces...those are nice from WOD. playing with wolves of steel right now...and man it looks awesome on my 40"widescreen sharp aquos T.V. it's so immersive that i can't even use time compression...lol

Hi, I'm having a strange issue with the ruler in this mod (not sure whether it's the mod or not, posting here to be safe) and I'm not sure what exactly is the problem.



The rulers here aren't working particularly correctly - this happens when using the tactical map on the smaller size. The overall length is correct, but the intermediate length is wrong. Is this an issue or am is it just me?

Permission Denied.
"Mon Gars" by Klaus Doldinger may be available for download from Amazon..

Again? Hm, mediafire...
I'll put direct download link for people whose experiencing the same problem. It will work eventually, just need to try few times...

I'm not sure why is this happening. Maybe because of some audio file from Das Boot Sound mod which is contained in the archive?

Be aware that mod is just quick fix/mod made by Sober for some CTD issue. However, Trevally didn't like it very much and Sober created now actual Kiel light mod (or similar) which will remove all traffic in Kiel harbor.. Nevertheless, I found that sobers removed z dat ships is exactly what I was looking for, it will improve FPS in harbors but it will remove those ugly burning and spinning ships in ports.
