Default HELP

I installed HMS Astute mod. Clean ver 1.5 game.
It was run and I can control sub, but I cannot go to bridge, cannot go to attack/ovs periscope. and cannot rise/lower them. I tried shortcut key and interface button of them, but it does not work. Nothing would happen.
How can I fix it? Something wrong in mod data???

Have you tried the F12 exterior view? Will the game go to that, or does it crash with that also. As ETR3(SS) notes in the download notes, the mod is not complete without some work on it. What you describe almost sounds like the conning tower, or sail, is not connected to the hull properly, which then does not allow you to use the periscopes or go to the bridge. It might be something as simple as renaming the node for the conning tower, and then it might be quite a bit more involved... But try to do an exterior view - you might have to change the Options for Gameplay - and if the submarine is sitting there with either a hole in the deck, or a flat spot where the sail should be, holler back. If it crashes, give a holler also... If ETR3(SS) stops by, he can be more specific about, being somewhat familiar with the mod.

Another thing to remember about applying mods, is that the game runs off of the Save folder, and when you apply mods, it changes the information for the game to run off of. However, the Save folder does not get updated with new versions of existing files. So if you empty the Save folder (delete "C:\Users \UserName \Documents \SH4", or use a Windows short-cut to get there), then the game rebuilds the information in the Save folder, and is then updated when it runs.
