tasm / harpoons
Ahoy!
Just started up DW again after many years. I am having a problem with TASM`s and Harpoon`s in that they drop short of target into the sea. They have`nt been shot down and they locked on ok. Any thoughts? |

Well, I can't read your mind-but I'll try.
Are you playing the stock game or one of the mods? Looking at my tealeaves, I see... I see... its the RA mod and you didn't read the release notes. That final (fifth) waypoint is very important and it MUST be placed on the target location. If I'm wrong, please provide a little more information. |

Maybe the "Destruction range" also need a double check?

Dont forget, a ship can still use its guns to shoot down a missile. it happens very fast, especially in RA. to test it out, turn on "show truth" and follow some missiles into their targets.

That is true as well. That behavior goes all the way back to 688 which is why I would shoot missiles in pairs but coming in from different bearings.
