Converting Balao to Tench: range and reloads

How can i change the sub's range (11k to 16k miles) and increase the number of reloads? I had the latter working awhile back but not lately.

The "Range" is in the sub's sim file, but the "figure" for that does not represent the true figure you will get. Which "re-loads" are you looking for, because they're in the sim file for the weapon, usually.

actually, you meant the SIM file for the boat....as well as in the UPC for the boat.

in the SIM file look for the Torpedo Room subsystem and make sure you have at least as many Storage places as you want reloads.

then....edit the Boat.UPC and look for the Bunkers for both the Aft and Forward torpedo rooms. change the number to something less than or equal to the Storage place you have in the Boat.SIM file.
be careful. those things are explosive.

Thanks guys, I'll bump up the range numbers by 45% and see how it goes.

Very useful, thanks for posting that. Looks like I shouldn't adjust the range after all. I would love to install this mod but I'm also in the process of setting up FotRS-UE, which doesn't seem to play well with any other mods, from the warnings I've seen.

Highly appreciated nonetheless.
