Default No bad weather

I am running nygm3.6 and after 3 patrols I have never had bad weather, its allways been clear skys.Previously with gwx it was the other way round with lots of bad weather. The north atlantic is more likely to be bad than good, any ideas please,

@Rickster:

NYGM 3.6 contains a version of the weather file 'envsim.act', with a code patch to fix a bug in the original.

If you prefer the original weather, then reinstate the original file envsim.act into folder silenthunteriii\data\. This is easy if you are using JSGME - just un-install NYGM 3.6, remove its file 'envsim.act', and reinstall the NYGM 3.6 folder.

If you have H.sie's V16B1 code patch also installed, you will be using his version of envsim.act, which provides a different type of weather fix in hard code.

If you have overlaid the Stiebler4B_V16B1_Addon patch (onto the H.sie code patch), then you will have yet another version of envsim.act, with a still different code solution. I myself prefer the envsim.act file provided with NYGM 3.6, out of all four possibilities. It contains the most accurate bug fix of the original code, so represents the original intention best.

All three code patches were made with the purpose of ending the problem of constant stormy fog (15 m/s winds; heavy rain/fog) caused by the bug in the original code.

Stiebler.

Stibler's solutions, noted above, solve the weather problem. A less elegant solution is Rubini's "stop the rain" mod.
