The mod doesn't seem to be loading for me or something.
When I go to New Campaign the first one is still called Total Germany which suggests to me that something isn't working properly.
I'm using the Full version if that's relevant, and I have Open Horizons loaded last in the enabler.

Hi Cerebulon and welcome to subsim

Yes - the first campaign should be Coastal Waters
When you are in the main menu, can you see this marked picture at the top of your menu.
Also - check that you can see the v1.2.0 in the top right of the screen.



Can you post your mod list from jsgme -
run jsgme and click "tasks"
then "export activated mod list" to clipboard and the paste here

No Open Horizons title up there for me, so I'd assume that means it isn't activating. I am on version 1.2.0.

I'm using mods suggested by somebody on another forum, unfortunately they didn't provide the list in order so I was left trying to get any conflicts as compatible as possible via readmes. But I'm not sure anything is activating at all, which is strange. TheDarkWraith's logo remover should remove the Ubisoft logo on startup, but that doesn't seem to be working either. Maybe it's an issue with jsgme in that case?
Tried deactivating every mod apart from OH2, still didn't load. Almost definitely a problem with jsgme.

You can test if your mods are installed correctly by going here:-

F:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Applications\JSGME mod validator
run the JSGMEModValidator app and post results

Also check here to ensure that your "jsgme" app is in this folder:-
F:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5 (the same folder as your SH5 game)

Yes, I put it in the right folder, but I'm using the version of jsgme downloaded from subsim, and it came 'pre-installed'. The fact that there is no \data\Applications\ folder tells me that maybe the version I have is missing something important. I'll see if I can find a download of jsgme which comes as a setup.exe

See here to dowload jsgme http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3559

unzip it to here F:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5 and run it.

It will create a MODS folder when you do that.
paste the mods into this MODS folder

When you are installing TDWs UI mod (NewUIs_TDC_7_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith) - you need to make sure you istall the correct folder or it won't work.

open the download and go here - \NewUIs_TDC_7_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\MODS
then copy and paste \NewUIs_TDC_7_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith to here F:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS then install

Thanks. I'd found a setup version and installed it. The validator registered everything as installed.
And then I was poking around in the files and I realised my embarressing mistake. I had two installs of SH5 from when I switched computers, one on the F drive where I was installing mods and one on C which was in the registry and Uplay was launching.
I had everything installed correctly, it was just in the right place on the wrong drive the whole time.

Hi there. I am anxious to try out this great looking mod. I have a small issue though. I just left my birth for the first patrol and roughly half the ships in the port area are kind of greyed out, like blank silhouettes.

Am I missing a file or two?

Hi MPV12 and welcome to subsim

Make sure you have updated SH5 to v1.2.0
Check the image in this post http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...postcount=1487 it shows v1.2.0 in the top right of screen.

Hi and thanks for the reply. I do appear to have 1.2 installed. Just had a CTD leaving the port, so probably going to do a fresh installation. I have other mods running. Should I fit this mod first? Then add others, one at a time, to make sure there are no conflicts?
