Default Stuck...can't get unit to show up..

In my TMO update I added the Darter aground at correct time and roughly correct place(Bombay shoal is not depicted in current location in SH 4) (with rafts to rescue) using the AI fleet sub in TMO as a docked ship. No matter what I name it or do, always get a message its not found in the library when try to load the mission. I had changed the sub to an environmental unit but it never appears no matter what I try. Rather annoying considering every other ship will show up. Out of ideas but had to not have this included. Any ideas ?

I can't remember the details now, but in FotRSU, we based the wrecked BB at Pearl on the Stock game's wrecks, and we made them environmental also. Check what we did with them. The are in the Sea folder as "WRC*", with the asteric being the name of the ship. We used the center setting in the dat file to set the ships' depth, but you can do similar in the mis file afterwards by text editing the Depth= setting by hand. You just can't open the file in the ME afterwards, because it will re-set that figure back to zero... so you might have a levitating vessel, or you might have one beneath the wave... - CapnScurvy did most of the final editing in the mod as it stands now, but it really isn't quite compete yet, since we have dry-docked versions, some YD cranes and other support vessels to add yet... We built a static S-Boat, and a Fleetboat, but have not added those yet, and I do have to find those. If I remember to look for them when I wake-up in morning, I'll send you a link for a copy of them. We have plans for the grounded subs also. But for now, copy off of FotRSU's wrecks at Pearl. Their Roster cfg files are under the Roster / Environmental / Sea folder.

Thanks will do! Plan is for it to be a destructible unit, so when player arrives and rescues those in the raft (i did successfully add the rescue raft a while back) player is ordered to shell and torpedo the Darter (was was done in reality). To do this I tried making an "American2" in the roster (had this issue long before tried it) so sim sees it as a neutral unit and player is not penalized for. I would like to do this for the Dutch sub O-19 as well at some point. I did add the pick up of the crew from the Flier (may recall she struck a mine in Balabac Strait, crew later rescued by Redfin) Perhaps put in some fictional incidents.

Some point, going to add torpedo firing fleet boats(any enemy of course). With the some of the named convoys that are not randomly generated that I added, could make a wolf pack work, esp since US version was less coordinated than Germans, they took turns attacking typically, distracted escorts. During a test in Sept 44 in Luzon Straits, I had AI fleet boats placed along the convoy route, ULTRA informing me where they were, showed up at proper time and place (left external came on for this one). Distracted most escorts while I closed in for the kill during night surface attack. Of course, they can't fire torpedoes(yet) nor dive so once escorts closed in they were sunk. Although I had some timed down to where they hit last waypoint and represent a "dive". Gives player the impression of some assistance. Also have it where player does on occasion run across another submarine, mainly when transiting to and from bases but also do place some in adjacent areas. In current career in March 1944 was in Area Vestibule in Philippine Sea on Palau-Japan shipping lanes. I attacked a convoy few times and chased a bit north into another area, encountered a US flee boat. Was kind of neat actually, she was in front of the convoy then disappeared (hit last waypoint) but simulated a dive. I try to placed submerged subs but they never work, even though can placed them submerged in the ME. Ah well.
