Default Could the next 'Silent Hunter' be built by...us?

Think about it. We've had GWX, Open Horizons II, IRAI, TMO, and many other super-mods, could the entire modding community, working together, produce the best subsim ever?

Yes, as long as we call it 'Warriors of the Deep

To write a game is very, very difficult. A mod is only a very small part of a game.
I think its possible but i think it will fail like other fan projects.

I'm not really a fan of WW2 sub sims, but I wouldn't mind helping on something like this from a coding or subject matter expertise standpoint...

That would be Deamon. It is more of a labor of love for him, and it is very slow going. He's been working on it since he got here back in 2002 and it is still in pre-Alpha.

If anyone thinks that they could help, he'd probably appreciate talking to you. Drop him a PM.
