Default [WIP] Nav Map Make-Over for OM

A picture is worth 1000 words, + I hate to type.

Note: In picture #3, Messina is an Italian Navel Base. (How COOL is that?)

I still have quite a bit to go, but this is what I am currently working on. I hope there is some interest for something like this, because I personally think the current Nav Map in OM SUCKS. Your input/feedback is welcomed.

Note: City names are currently in English. If you want some/all cities in German, someone will need to provide me with a list. Since I don't know any German.

Fantastic Nbjackso!

Just this evening I was wondering if you had decided to work on the OM map makeover after all and now I see you already started . This is great news.

I agree about the Italian airbase, it looks bad ass.

I'm willing to help with researching the city names if you'd like. I don't speak german either but I can do the same thing I did for the the sea map labels, i.e. look them up on the interwebs . Last time I had pretty good luck researching the translations on Wikipedia.de and it was kinda fun.

I checked a few cities at random from your screenshots and all the ones I picked were the same spelling in german. The only one I found that was different is Athens --> Athen. So based on that I'm thinking there shouldn't be that many corrections to make.

Let me know if you need help and I can start working on a list for you.

added this mod last. It prevents me from setting course using the course tool. I deactivated it. There is a conflict somewhere, and it could be with a mod unrelated to OM. The map looks good otherwise.

I. g. Down,

I made this mod using only the OM and OMEGU mods with the patch updates.

I took a look at what might be causing that problem. Try removing the Shaders folder before you enable the mod. However, that will cause the black outlines around the land to come back.

Let me know if this helps your problem

I deleted the shaders folder, enabled the mod, and had the same problem. Thus, I deleted the mod. If it cannot be fixed, don't worry about it. I have the mod loaded in PTO (TMO and GFO set ups), so I use it in those. Currently, I am playing OM/OMEGU/Kiub with a few other mods.
