I had some idea too that AI_sub_crew_1_0_2_TheDarkWraith was in part of some. How did you figure out AI sub crew was causing CTD? And what kind of CTD? Were they random during a mission?

I was looking at your mod list, I assume thats the order they go in? I saw you had sub flags enabled. Does it work for you in a campaign?

I was having CTD when starting a campaign, similar to the way TheDarkWraith_DC_Water_Disturbances_v2_0_SH5 was causing it.

If you got sub flags working with your mod soup, it shows that the mods I thought were causing it not to work aren't the ones.

I really thought OHII 2 was causing sub flags to not to work. As I thought IRAI or FX were causing it also to not work.

If this is the case where it is working on your mod soup, my only other idea was Equipment fix mod. I did notice you had a custom equipment date one, I wonder if something in equipment dates are not allowing the flags to work in a OHII 2 campaign. That was a suspension of mine with the sub flag CTD.

If you wouldn't mind, I don't want to personally use your Equipment Upgrade Fix by you, I want to look through the files and see if I can find something. So could you zip them and either upload them here or PM it to me. It would be greatly appreciated.

Also why did you do this:
FX_Update_0_0_22_ByTheDarkWraith (removed flag.dat)
I'm curious and have lots of question, lol.

Sure:

OPEN HORIZONS II v2.3.1 - Serge65 and gap's compatibility patch + fixes v 1


Tweaks included in this patch:
  • Serge's fix for some recently added air units which were crashing the game in museum (sober, can you check that the museum is ok now?);
  • Serge's compatibiity patch for SkyBaron's Leigh light for SH5;
  • My fixes for the not sequentially ordered H8K's equipment entries, and for the duplicate Glorious/Courageous class names, as per sober's report;
  • A new version of sh.sdl including all the sound entries from OH 2.3.1, RPM Hydrophone v2.2.1, TDW's sub flag, Harbour Addition_Environment Enhancement Mod v0.5. This should fix the problem reported by vdr1981.

Enable the patch on top of the aforementioned mods.

Note for Trevally:

The patch is set for being enabled with JSGME. If you are going to merge it with the next OH release, you should remove manually from the merged mod the folder <NCV_Glorious> with all its content

This mod causes CTD when approaching the playerbase at distance of 30-35km. In the first campaigns it is not very noticeable. In the mission away from the playerbase, all is well. Don't ask me why, but it is this mod.

No, no. The reason is that the Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1 mod replaces Uboats .eqp-files from Sub Flags mod, or vice versa, depending on the fact that the first installed. EQP-files of these mods required to combine.

P.S. Sorry, I'm confused by this set of mods. It's not Equipment mod, it is IRAI.

If I have installed the latest flag.dat of FX22 mod, ships are not have flags. If I have flag.dat of OHII mod - all is well. Maybe it's just me?

Can you please remove either the <NPL_Hap> or the <NHOSP> folder (or both of them) from Macardigan's mod, and try again?

I am not sure I am getting you.

If SkyBaron's mod is enabled before OH (merged with your patch), the game will place the Leigh lights on aircraft whose eqp files have the light set as an equipment. If the Leigh light mod is not enabled, the light entries in eqp files should be ignored, i.e. considered as "null"

Those two ships are wrong anyway: they contain a bunch of duplicated Id's. I will post a fix in short time.

In the meanwhile, would you please create a mod with only the P-47 mission and the P-47 air unit, and test it together with RPM hydrophone? (as usual, no other mod enabled)

OK...

TDW patcher + RPM Hyd 2.2.1 + mod which contains P-47 single mission and Air/P47 folder...

Jump from first Black pit mission to P-47 test mission and No CTD...

Do you want me to try combination...
OHII 2.3.1
RPM Hyd 2.2.1
only?

Or something similar?
