Great news! I hope this means they are getting some sales with the game and this is not the end of the Silent Hunter series.

Well, we release the half-game, no matter what happens, the hardcore gamers, who loves the game, impulse purchase that product. Subsimmers are very tough gamers. Money is coming...
There are, too, a well trained comunity capable of modding the game and make it works. Of couse, this people works for free, they love the game too. And Ubi loves them.
We, UBI, are "supporting" the game, of course. we´ll make patches that fix all those bugs, found by gamers(now testers
too). No need beta-testers at all.

Time passing...

Subsimmers comunity modding...

Money still arriving guys. .!

Comunity effors eventually gets the game works properly... Who cares! we are already thinking about the next game...

After the patch I reinstall the game.
And play of it my first time SH5.

But yeah, a good part of SH sales is due to the great community that gives it it's longevity. And without players finding and reporting bugs, no game would ever get proper support, you can't find 'em all in testing.

Come About!! Patch 2 Gentlemen, hip hip hoorah. Such sober sense i now observe. Dare i be so sanguine as to hope every possible measure into said patch be of 1st order, and attended with good favour amongst our community. Good stuff
