Granted, Jimbo wasn't expecting the inquisition either and once he was 5 minutes into the tale of your childhood, he fell asleep, allowing you to walk away, which you didn't realize was tantamount to a prison escape, causing you to be tried for numerous trumped-up charges, sentenced to to a thousand years in jail and to become cell-mates with that Fritzi guy while Jimbo is stripped of all rank and forced to become a prison guard and makes a fortune selling films of your nightly escapades

Granted, the British get out to safty, but not to safety. In fact, they don't really know where they are when they get to safty so they get dafty and shoot up the place, end up in prison with Jimbo and TarJak and all have a blast playing "pick up the soap" and "change the dirty nappy"
