now its time to release the next Carrier-Upgrade for FOTRS.

This Upgrade replaces the Carrier_Upgrade V1.0 !

Contents :

- New Carrier CV-6 USS Enterprise
- New Carrier CV-9 USS Essex
- reworked Carrier CV-3 USS Saratoga ( Hull enlargement )
- reworked Carrier IJN Soryo ( Zone-file reworked )

Installation :

First of all it is important to finish your patrol in your port until you upgrade FOTRS.

The Upgrade is an selfinstallation-programm.

1.) deactivate FOTRS with JSGME
2.) run the Carrier_UpgradeV2.0.exe
3.) Chose your destination-folder where the Upgrade have to be installed.
Important : The destination must be the FalloftherisingSun_V1.2_SH4V1.5-Folder in your Mod-Folder of your SH4 installation :
For example : c:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolfes of the Pacific\MODS\FalloftherisingSun_V1.2_SH4V1.5
4.) activate FOTRS with JSGME and enjoy the changes.

Watch it Max, the fix is in. I'm warned for saying the same thing. You're not allowed to reply to others' attacks. You can't even joke about it. They can say what they want, but no reply, even in a clearly joking manner, seems to be tolerated. That's fine. Others can play the game too.

Noted the following

Anything above the horizon lies seems to be faded. Most noted when explosion take place. The horizon line deefines a fade shif in the images.

I have a Nvidia card with everything the latest.

By the way, ran into a Conga line of Battleships. Knonga, Ise, etc... 7 in all and a bunch of escort destroyers. Had three torps left. Hit the first BB with two, thrirds missed as it swerved left after impact. Couldn't report as I had reported a small merchant convoy I sank and no transmission for anothe 8 hours....

This was an interesting scenario... Love some aspects of the mod..

Oh

Don't mind the Naysayers, like ants there with us always and need to be ignored. My mother always said it's easy to knock down a sandcastle but try and build one sometime...

I have been trying to play the fotrs mod, but on the 3rd mission system crashes to desktop.

My system is an HP desktop a6130n 450 gig hd 4 gig ram nvidia 6150 garphics..All other mods run fine, but this one is giving me a bad time

..I definately like the fuel explosions, things that go FUMMP or BOOOM make me all kind of mushy inside..

Hello again!

Fall of the Rising Sun SH4 version 1.5, is corrupted my friend. I have try like 4 times in the last 24 hours, and all the 4 times I got corrupted files, can you check it out please, I would like to test your mod.

I been just getting into the mods for sh4..
I have tried RLB and TMO(the basis for this mod)
and I must say out of the three, for me personally..
I really like the feel of this mod.. it just seems right.
I know they all are improving daily... with great hopes.
I think the community is very lucky to have three great major mods.
Im sure more will come in the future! (GWX?)
But at the present time this one is for me!

I want to thank you for the time and work put into fotrs.. great job!!
Look forward to seeing more work in the future!

no complaints on work in progress.. as at least there is progress..

So you really think that I am not having any problems to download or install your mod, well check this picture my friend, when I try to open the exe file FOTRSBugfix001, I have a warning message from windows, saying basically: That windows doesn't seem to be able to open the file, or that iI might not have the sufficient privilege to open up the file.
Not mentionning also, that everytime I try to open the exe file, I get from Avast a virus warning message. Has for the carrier upgrade 2.0 exe file I seem to be able to install it.

It will be the 5th time in the 2 last day's, that I am trying to download your mod, and your the ONLY one on SUBSIM, that I have problem with his mod. It takes at least 2 hours to download it, and every single time 7zip tells me that there is corrupted files. This will be my last time, if you cannot help me out. I know you are trying but has the picture show's you, I am not making that up.

Here is a picture of the bugfix error message that I am receiving from Window's, and I will also post a picture of the 7zip corupted files warning that I do receive also, in 2 hours from now, when the download is completed:

And here is the error mesage my friend the NSSgato.dat, file is corrupted.
