England 1-2 Iceland and yet another chapter in English footballs book of failures.

Poor Woy won't be getting a renewed contract but no surprises there, he shouldn't have been appointed manager in the first place.

What England so desperately needs is someone who can mold a group of overpaid multi-millionaire dispassionate individuals into a team that cares passionately enough to play as a team and that is capable of beating a country with a population the size of the city of Leicester.

God only knows what France would have done to us had we been fortunate enough to progress into the next round.

Come home boys....your place in the annals of English footballing infamy is well deserved.

Wow yes, they were really good. I would also like to see them win. Seldom seen a crew that plays so well together, and has obviously fun doing it.

Congratulation to Iceland.

I newer expeted this would happen-I had guessed the experience and that football is the number 1 sport in England and they have some great players on their team, would take its term and England would win with 2-1 or 3-1.

Oh well how could I be wrong.

How some German commentators and writers before the cup could have said that this old Italian teams is not to be counted to the favourites this time, is beyond me. A German, saying that? C'mon, its the team from Italy - and that means they are all Italians!

So far Italy served Germany its lower bottom on a plate every time they meet at major tournaments. Maybe this time it will be different, this time its the team with the lowest against the team with the oldest age average in the competition.

Spain dissapointed. Not much to say there.
