I am old (compared to most gamers) and and I am a wargamer. On most websites, I am simply known as Oldgamer. However, when I registered here, the name was taken. So, I added my birth year. Oldgamer48 !

What war games do you play? I like COD (1 & 2) and BF 2 (the reactions from 2142 are lukewarm). Have not played either online since I'm on dialup, but hopefully that'll change soon since Portland has free wifi!

My favorite games are Starfleet Command III (heavily modded, but aren't they all?), Rome:Total War, and this game will be my favorite for a long time, I'm sure. On this one, I use the Grey Wolves Supermod.

In the old days, my favorite boardgames were all Avalon Hill games, with their Panzerblitz tactical-level games at the top of the list, along with NATO: The Next War in Europe.

BTW, I've never played online before, except with SCIII, when it first came out. My experience with online play wasn't very good, there.

Well the first U-Boat book I have ever read(before SHIII) was Grey Wolf Grey Sea by E.B Gasaway. It told the story of U-124. So naturly I choes her first comander Wilhelm Schulz as my name.

My username was issued when I reported aboard planet earth for duty.

I'd be late for chow or miss paycall if I were called anything else.

Grayling is the name of the 637 class fast attack that I was stationed on in the early 90s. STS was my rate...sonar tech. submarines...and the (SS) is designation for submarine qualified.

My last name is Rosenfield, hence the "Rose." Thought it had a nice ring to it.
