Myeah, was basicly drunk from Thursday afternoon till early Sunday morning,
so need to fix my hangover before getting back to DayZ.

Others go to their summer houses to relax, I come home to sober up and rest for the next weekend.

Not surprised.

No wonder there are so many empty whiskey bottles in DayZ.

There are, aren't there?

Moved up from Elektro to Topolka Dam, found nothing of interest there except a couple of shufflers, so moved on to the north-west, found some zeds who were dispatched but not before I got the shakeys, which is annoying, patched myself up and then headed north-west, found a hatchet in a barn and managed to evade the zeds nearby to escape back into the forest for some beans and water.

You'd think it'd be vodka!

http://www.dayzdb.com/map#4.090.121 - invaluable! - says that at the dam there is only one low-yeald farm and one low yeald residential property.

Hatchets are good, kill quietly - don't attract more zed.

Edit - dayzmod.com is back up.

Has anyone else noticed a considerable dumbening down of zeds in the latest version? The poor fellas are practically blind now! At night theyre useless as usual, but even during the day they barely see a few feet ahead of themselves. Firing a gun didnt get you overwhelmed either, as only a few more zeds cared to come and take a look. Combine that with loads of food, coke and water bottles everywhere and its now very easy to get started.

Oh, finally found a composite bow. One kickass weapon

Finding weapons isn't that bad. Berenzio is a good place for some and the NE Air-Strip has some nice stuff as well.

Deerstands and farmhouses are good choices too if you don't fancy entering the big cities. The blocks of apartments there are usually good sources for pistols and ammo for long weapons, but rarely weapons themselves.
