Director's Cut. Better than the Theatrical Release, but still so much missing compared to the 'Uncut' version. It also seems weird to me not hearing the narration.

Still, one of the best, even in that short form.

Robocop (2014)
Render me surprised. This movie was quite enjoyable. Had it's flaws but did a lot of things right and surprised me in the end.
Usually, remakes are a catastrophe and an insult towards the original.
This one though... is really good, I still can't believe it.

Yeah that was the one. All in all it was a good film, and it had one of my favorite parts from the book. The part with the Frenchmen Paul Durand saying that he would like to work for the Germans. As well as the "lay figure", a dummy made out of the straw-filled mattresses which would then be lowered during a blackout from an upper story window into one of the frequently patrolled areas around the camp.

Watched The Fast and The Furious again....

The first movie isn't as good as the sequels...

I've decided that I want that orange Supra though.

Is that the one where you have to do a dozen gear changes before reaching 50 mph?

I've started watching 24 from the beginning - disappointed to find each episode is only 40 minutes (inc. 'previously' and end credits). Wouldn't have happened if the BBC had made it - 55 mins in the hour is a lot more respectable for a show that depends on timing.

I saw The Bridges at Toko-ri as well last night. It was nice to see the old F9F's doing their thing.

One of my favourite carrier action movies. The Panther was a beautiful aircraft.

At the end of the first one, Mr. Walker shifts the car 4 times just doing a U-turn.

One of my friends defends the movies saying "it's precision shifting"

You only need one gear to turn around.
