Can someone tell me why some of my crew members are standing like Michael Jackson ?
If i click on them...I CTD



And these guys dont move at all...

Seams your sys run out of memory, if using a 32 bit os and / or with only 2gb ram, do a search for the "3 gb byte switch", "4 gb patch" (large address aware solutions) for the different os / configuration cases (winXP, Vista32 bit etc). Even if running on a 64 bit system with more than 2 gb ram, the os needs to know that the app can handle more than 2gb ram.

Oh yes, for sure this looks like a lack of memory issue.
Try adjusting your graphics settings down a bit.

again i want to say to the guys who made this game fooking wonderfull woow! just AMAZING!!
my modlist atm.

the list is almost to my likeness
still find and read many stuff here and wonder how about the U-boat Historical Specifications 1.7 by ddrgn and the R.E.M_by_Xrundel_TheBeast_1.2 mods
or are both already implemented in some mod? if not i want to install UHS for sure but dunno where. and may have to erase the real ammo mod. pls help
Also i like to know there's a mod for my list to install equipment and upgrades without to pay for and a GERMAN version for TDC textures instead of english ingame?

gameplay atlantic air gap mission

a beauty on patrol!


realy like the explosions and sounds! hitting a tanker, liberty with warsupplies are real fire crackers!
also i saw a hughes fire barrage in the air, looked like AA guns whith lots of explosions up the air fired by a armed troopship and sounded like bam bam bam bam (LOL)
it was so cool to watch that i forgot to make a screen, hehehe



some notes
Came across some hospital ships which were totaly black??
sank them both, yes im brutal!
The lifeboats with survivors can't be shot up or sink, yes im very brutal!
Nnever see blue skies in the atlantic , is this scripted or does this gonna change when i move to southern missions?

For some reason to get TDW FX mod to work I have to load it in last otherwise stuff like the D/F anntena wont work, lighthouses and flashing lights in strange places etc.

I'm completely new to the SH 5, just got the game and was looking for some mods. I'm going to copy Noordermeer's loadout as it looks like it would fit me I hope you've got not problems with that order

BTW, how exactly I add mods to achieve a particular order? The first one from the list goes first and the following mods should replace any common files, right?

deactivate sobers best ever fog V4 SH5 then you will have blue sky but sever fog

Before attempting any modding, read this first, essential reading designed for the new guys just like you:

Once you have a 'mod soup' as we call it here, that works click Tasks in JSGME and Export Mod List, that way if you add anything in the future and it royally screws it up, you can revert to the configuration that was fine.

I think this is the main reason why it's IMO really hard to find out the correct or best load order for them - if they could or even shouldn't be activated at the same time. Stormy? Trevally? TDW?

For some reason to get TDW FX mod to work I have to load it in last otherwise stuff like the D/F anntena wont work, lighthouses and flashing lights in strange places etc.

Once you have a 'mod soup' as we call it here, that works click Tasks in JSGME and Export Mod List, that way if you add anything in the future and it royally screws it up, you can revert to the configuration that was fine.

Thank you for the answer. Yeah I am familiar with that rules

I have a one question though. I see some of you use One ship one torpedo mod and some Torpedoes Critical hit mod. I have read their descriptions and if I understood right, the first mod is about highly increased torp damage while the second introduces the increased random numbers roll. I'm not into naval warfare topic as much and I cannot decide for myself which mod is actually closer to realism. Any comments appreciated
