At long last. I am pleased to announce on behalf of former and current GWX-Knight's Cross Edition Development team members, that today we launch GWX-Knight's Cross Edition version 1.0 for Silent Hunter III. We hope you enjoy it. It comes to you after MANY great difficulties, and hundreds of hours of collective labor. Some rest is needed. Fleshing out this post further will happen as I feel up to it. Also, this optional mod's performance appears to vary wildly from system to system without apparent commonality. After many many hours having been spent to bring this body of work in line with the high standards we have set for GWX-KC, I have been unsuccessful in reaching those goals with this mod. In future, if you have problems with this optional mod, please do not use it, or report issues found with it on this thread. Use at your own risk, without expectation of support from anyone on the GWX-KC dev team. Please note that reported fixes posted by sailors not associated with the GWX dev team, fix one issue while breaking others. With respect for the good will of those attempting to create fixes, please do not attempt to post such fixes on this thread.
