Happy hunting in your "decom day" Tambor ( available at http://battleflags.net/ )
Thank you so much for providing me with this unique killflag skin. I display it proudly!

I really find this work awesome guys, but I'm afraid with the seemingly short career lengths, doesn't this create too much work for y'all?

The screenshot to the right of the pic is the result of this effort (and YES, those hull numbers appear correctly on both sides of the boat )

Work? That's a four letter word around my house:rotfl: Seriously, if you go over to battleflags.net and click on the download a new boat section and take a look through the boats that have already been "built" you'll see that there are quite a few there. Building the boats can be a lot of work (finding patches, cropping emblems, placing emblems, etc.) but once a boat is built then it's just a matter of adding the killflags to the skin and updating the battle flags.

So, to answer your question, yes and no

Bah...don't listen to him, Lightning61. D_T, sqk7744 and sober have done an OUSTANDING job. And of course, extra special kudos must go to FooFighters for his excellent submarine skins. You guys

ETA: No update for this week. Hopefully, there will be one next week, along with screenies from my game on my new rig!

Thanks DrBeast! Looking forward to those pics!

How's the new rig shaping-up? Can you get a APC UPS 750es or equiv in your waters?

Cheers,
-sqk

This is a forced upgrade, because the motherboard on our current rig is living on borrowed time. So I only ordered the bare essentials (motherboard, CPU, RAM, graphics card, hard disk...the price you pay when a four-year-old PC needs to be replaced). Placed the order on Friday, I'll hear from the guys tomorrow hopefully about the availability of the CPU I ordered (brand new Wolfdale, the E8200!).
A UPS will certainly be our next target, once we can afford it; brownouts over here are a freaking plague. Don't know about that specific model, but APC is a well-known brand.

It is with sad regret that I inform everyone of the loss of the USS Grouper. It will be found in postwar records that 2 IJN fleet carriers were lost in her vicinity and that she was lost from a combined effort from surface escorts and planes (they were pissed that they did not have a place to land anymore ).

Luckily this isn't real life and I just started up another game using both TMO and RSRD for the first time. I love RSRD because it gives you specific orders and limits the amount of ships you'll see. I just sent in my first kill flag request for my new command (USS Silversides SS-236). Thanks for this awesome mod.
