I actually grabbed the full version for my GF, she is more of a shooter player then I am. I did howerver spend a bit of time with it myself and the AI is amazing and the 'feel' of the game is incredible. Should still be a fee demo of the first lvl for those who want to try.

Hard to believe no one else is mentioning GNBNA. That may have been the first game I ever played with a dynamic campaign. That was my biggest disappointment with Fighting Steel. Well, that and the whopping 4 ship convoys....

I'm also suprised to see so many people mentioning B17 2. I thought I was the ONLY one who played that game!!!!
Yep, that's the one. It's too bad most new flight sims don't feature a dynamic campaign like the one in "Their Finest Hour" or SWOTL. I'd really like to see this feature in a subsim, but I guess it's unlikely.

Also interesting that many people played Hidden & Dangerous 2, wich got burned down by most gamemags. (to difficult...but as usual that is exactly why I loved it)

We seem to like quality games, refreshing.

F-29 Retalliator (Holy mosez that one's OLD!)
Apache Longbow
Apache vs Havoc
Commanche vs Hokum
Flanker 2 and Lock On - Modern Air Combat
Black & White 1
Homeworld 1+exp pack and HW2
Messias
Morrowind + Exp pack

I agree! I got it Friday, and all weekend long it was like:

(Playing Civ4) "I wish I were playing SH3..."
(Playing SH3) "I wish I were playing Civ4..."
(Playing Civ4) "I wish I were playing SH3..."
(Playing SH3) "I wish I were playing Civ4..."

I gotta stop buying new games when I'm allready playing another....

Hahah WW.

Doing an instance in WoW: What's the next player I should buy for my master league team in PES5?

Playing PES5: I wonder how the Civ4 AI plays on the islands scenario

Playing Civ4: OMG submarines... I'd so put some torpedoes through the keel of that Galley!

Playing SH3: Man I wish Civ4 didn't crash so much.

@illuminatus: :rotfl:

The whole time I was playing Civ4, I was gearing my entire civilization towards building a submarine fleet when they became available....

And Civ4 only crashes when you are doing well - Start a war with a bigger, badder civ, and the game becomes rock-stable....

All time #1
WARBIRDS - before they killed the lower realism mode. I was even a Squadron commander at one time ("The Drifters, Guns for hire") with about 30 members. Was always an awesome time when we got together!

#2's
DIABLO II - spent way too much time on this. had 48 characters, all level 80 or above, with 6 level 99's. Sold the acounts on eBay

SH III - Mostly because I'm playing it now... but probably won't remain. Fun, but not THAT fun. Maybe if they had better multi-player options, including a "no friendly fire" option that would prevent hack weenies from causing damage (or better yet, have any damage that would have been assessed, be assessed to the shooters sub and not yours).

Other notable:
REAL WAR - fun, and a bit challenging, but not an all-time favorite. I think there's a newer version out there (something like CIV 4, but with tanks and such -- if you know of the game I speask, please PM me) I seem to recall something on the G4 channel that reviewed this game - but I forgot the name maybe Age of Empires III ?? :hmm: I'm not sure how far that game goes.
