WAIT for the crying and moaning to start?
Hell, it's been going for weeks, even months (by some)....maybe you have your head in the sand already?

From those that buy it? Mmmm, doubt it, why would i buy something then complain about it, i tend to do my research about a product as best as i can before buying something, makes sense, i'm sure there are many here that do the same thing, indeed, some have already researched enough and continuously cram the "i'm not buying it" regurgitated protein spill down other people's throats......
you seem to be one of them.....
if 4PARA doesn't mind me using one of his "sign-offs"...
"good day to you sir!

When SH5 comes out, instead of buying it I will make a donation of exactly the same value to the forum thru a donation.

That money will be spent, but it won't get into Ubisoft's hands.

Neal will appreciate the gesture, but will likely ask you to buy the game through the subsim link so that both subsim and the Silent Hunter franchise are helped.

Gosh, what place became this...

Ah good idea to bring this Forum back too the intelligent Niveau like it was 4 years ago:

Delete all User accounts.

Only poeple over 30 years who prove it with a passport copy let in again...

I feel not sorry for teens left out....

I have no problem with teens. Most U-Boat crewmen were around 18 and most U-Boat commanders were in their 20's. If they were old enough to live, fight and die in the Cruel Sea, there is no reason why players of all ages can't appreciate these sims and get a small taste of what it must have been like.

However, in these forums, you will have more impact with a well reasoned, well thought out, well supported and well written argument. A touch of dry wit helps as well.

I personally love these forum wars which is why I only come out of lurker mode when there is a new release...

You mean like when the modder wars were going on over SH3?

Or five years ago, when the same thing was happening before SH3's release?

Or 8 years ago, just before the release of SH2?

You're wishing for a past that never existed. It's always been like this.

Some of our most intelligent members have been teens. Adam Warren, Kapitan Phillips, and a great many more have been wonderful contributors. And some of the over 30, over 50, over 70 folks have had their bad days.

There's nothing wrong with what's going on here right now. We have a natural right to be stupid. To paraphrase a great man, All of us are stupid some of the time, and some of us are stupid all of the time. It's when two of us are being stupid at the same time that the popcorn comes out.
