it seems like it would be interesting to sink one of those ballon ships, cause then, it is no longer a ship, it is only a balloon sticking out of the water.:rotfl:

outstanding work by the GWX Team!

I can't wait for the update!

but still don't overwork yourselves.

again, great work!

Nope. You'll likely have to suffer through several more.

We are not teasing anyone, because the items we show you will be released.

Knowing you will eventually have it should give you patience enough to wait for it.

Do you want a pile of junk? Do you want all of the things that we haven't shown you to be cut just so you can have a couple of new toys today?

Nah. Anyone who carry's the U-869 captain's name is a better man than that.

It will be ready when its ready.

Am I to interpret capitals as shouting or as in raising one's voice ? :hmm:
Quite a few people around these parts actually appreciate little previews of what is forthcoming
Throwing the toys out of the pram only results in fewer left to play with until GWX 1.04 is released.
I do not wish to appear condescending .....but if you were to read through many of the GWX posts on this forum you will see that the GWX team have consistently delivered quality kit time after time.

It will be ready when it is ready

Ok,ok well I do understand that it does take alot of time to make something like this but at least show some more pics of whats to come. In the meantime I'll stick with 1.03 for now.

Well...if I'm doing...something...for GWX...and GWX is being released soon...ish...I may have to skip sleeping this weekend.

But I can see it being done in...a couple days...give or take.

Look at my "Crazy Request" thread in the main SH3 forum to see what I'm talking about.

You've got time. Don't loose sleep. Can't tell you time scales but you don't need to bust a gut.

Default Distress Calls?

I do not know if this has ever been addressed yet, but how about distress calls from torpedoed/shelled ships? Possible, or not?

I remember when reading about Bernard Rogge and Atlantis, there was frequent mention of targeting the ship's radio room to prevent distess signals.
I think that it would be nice to at least occasionally receive a report from the radio operator that "Enemy is transmitting distress signal, HerrKaleun!".
Gives me another reason to use my deck gun!

I've always assumed that my victims were sending distess calls, since destroyers or aircraft show up soon after, but I think actually having distress calls in the game would be great for immersion.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but if I remember correctly, I think that all enemy ships and planes do send messages when they identify you (that of course applies for the SSS signals as well). Hopefully someone who has more information will come along and confirms or deny this.
