I love it. I never want the crew to forget that they blinded us by destroying both periscope heads but our procedures (which others are busily disparaging in another thread. I'm taking some goodly shots. ) brought us home! Kraken is kraken the whip on the Japanese navy!

This is fantastic work DD and i can´t wait to send you my Patrol Report !!!
But i got 2 questions :

1. I´m on my second Patrol use the same boat like Ralli above (S39) but wouldn´t start a new Assignement. Is this a Problem to join your family then ?

2. Are Kill Flags historically given to the boat or the Cpt. ? Were Commanders allowed to transfer them, if they were assigned on a new boat ?


P.S.: Sry for my bad english but i´m outta school for 21 years

Welcome to Subsim, McHibbins! I wouldn't worry too much about your English, you have a better grasp of it than some of my neighbors:rotfl: As I always like to say, I don't speak English either, I speak American You've only been out of school for 21 years, eh? I wish I could remember how many years since I got out.

No problem with using the same boat as anyone else here, we'll just keep a seperate flag and subskin for you. The flags and the kills stay with the boat. The skipper gets credit for the tonnage for all the boats they have commanded.

Which means, i´ll have to choice between the advantages of a new Sub or keeping the Flags and my old One ? (for Realism)

Yessir, you got it It's made me think once or twice about changing boats. You get kind of attached to 'em this way. Adds to the immersion, IMHO. I sure am glad sqk77444 created this mod. It's one that I won't live without.

Speaking of which, does anyone know if the addon affects the sub skins at all? I sure hope not:hmm:
