And better crew management and a few other things.

But SH4 still has no harbor and canal locks mods, or K-ships, or most especially SH3 Commander, with its huge crew-name database and Ship Names. Those are the only things that keep me from dropping SH3 altogether.

Hi Gents. Please let me know if this mod is compatible with MFM. I tried to enable both via JSGME and got game crashed. Has that SH5 water mod got or is combined with any merchant or ship mod?
Many thanks for support.

There should be no conflicts, the mods are perfectly compatible. However the MFM requires a LOT from your system, especially in terms of memory, and I would guess that SH5 Water also adds to the strain on your resources as well.

In short there's no reason the two mods can't be used together provided your system specs are up to it (and using the 4GB patch would also be recommended).

I have noticed that SH5 water for SH3 doesn't go with water streams for
U-boats v4. Is it true or it's only me who has got that problem?

It's only you. It works fine for me. Post a list of your mod order and we'll get it working for you.

[edit] It may be the version of Waterstreams you're using. Try the Waterstreams-Exhaust Smoke Kombimod.

A couple of quick thoughts:

Unless you are playing the game in French, you don't need the Fix French mod.

Unless you are planning to patrol in and out of two or more major theaters of operations in the course of one patrol on a regular basis, Merged Campaign is unnecessary. All it will do is increase your load times and the demands on your system by loading ALL scripted traffic in the entire SH3 world every time you fire up the game. You don't need targets spawning in the Indian Ocean or Mediterranean if you're only patrolling in the Atlantic and/or North Sea.

Black Sea Campaign Files Only is exactly that - it will cause the game to load traffic ONLY in the Black Sea theater. Unless you are playing in that region, you don't want it as it will remove all other traffic. Indian Ocean Campaign Files Only does the same thing for the Indian Ocean - unless you are patrolling in that region, you should not use it as it will remove traffic from every other theater of operations.

I have never used the Mediterranean aircraft skins but I presume that unless you are playing in the Mediterranean and want Axis aircraft to have the appropriate localized paint jobs for that region, it is also unnecessary.

Lite Harbor Traffic removes most (if not all) "eye candy" shipping from your harbors. The only reason you would need or want it is if you are concerned about how your system will perform while trying to maneuver through a fully "stocked" harbor, or if you just prefer not to have other ships mucking about nearby while you're sailing in and out of base.

I think I would be interested in patrolling the all available theatres.
Especially all the Atlantic area and Mediterranean Sea.

What our friend Frau means is that unless and until you are entering a new area like the Med, do NOT enable those mods. I don't know the timing of the exact moment in gameplay when you rollback SH3 Cmdr and enable say, the Med stuff if you get transferred, but that is the only time you need any of these "other" environments. Otherwise you risk weirdness with the existing environs.
Hope this makes sense!

That's correct. If you have Black Sea enabled, there will be no ships anywhere except the Black Sea. Same for the others. What they do is free up resources on your computer by not loading up the whole world. The merged campaign will load everything in the whole world, and will be really laggy. It's only to be used when travelling from one area (Atlantic) to another (Med). That's when you'll need both, but only for that one voyage.

Axis Mediterranean aircraft skins will change all aircraft in the whole world to desert color markings, so you only want it when operating in the Med.
