I use RSRDC Phase III for stock. No night attacks whatsoever in two patrols (date of last save: late January 1942).

ETA: I also use a slightly modified Parab's Fewer Air Contacts, have been using it ever since I reinstalled the game and patched to v1.4.

Hiya's,
Well to be honest i have not completed a career since i got addicted to sh4 lol

What with all the glorious mods about i have been like a kid in a sweetshop he he

The career i just deleted was the furthest i had got (4th run out of pearl) but still so far so good no night attacks and all other tm air cfg settings are left untouched so hopefully nothing's been dumbed-down

Again any night attacks i'll ammend post (touches dado (wood )

Have Fun

Ciao

I use RSRDC III and I have been attacked at night.

Maybe it's a stock issue then, because, as I mentioned, I also use ParaB's airstrike.cfg, and RSRDC for stock does NOT alter that file :hmm:

Well the problem is not in TM. I have two installs and I have night attacks on the stock version.

I will assume you have no other mod besides TM that changes airstrike.cfg. In this case, if you have activated TM with JSGME, the file in main SH4 directory will be the same as the one from TM.
Unless you know what you're doing, you ALWAYS disable the mod that makes changes to the file you want to work on, make your own changes, and then re-enable the mod. It's common sense to make a backup of the file you want to make changes on, just in case something goes bad.
Dr. Beast, it make sense to disable TM (which I think is the only mod which should modify the airstrike.cg file), make the corrention, then re-enable TM mod. I will make a backup file as well. Always a good thing to do. Thanks

I have used this since xp first came out and last year i found it works fine in x86 version of vista maybe x64 version too but i'm not sure but don't see why not

The copyto/moveto is also a time saver

These 2 reg files i couldn't do without and are always the first things i install whenever i format and freshly install windows

To see the icon i mean if your using xp goto start then run and type in regedit, When regedit opens the icon shows on it in the top left corner

If using vista you have to enable the run command option in the start menu options then do the same start/run n type regedit

There are loads of clever reg tweaks, I just threw these two up as they are my most used ones

Hope that helps

Have fun

Ciao

Default It is being worked on

I have it on good authority that Ducimus is hard at work on the problem.
I am sure he would appreciate our patience in the matter. I have no ETA.

hehehee...you have been over at the Ubi forums haven't you Florida? Duci did say he has been keeping a weather eye on this air strike thread over here, and from all the 'Quote "B & M" Unquote' he was looking at the issue IIRC.

I used the contents of the notepad in the Airstrike Mod and pasted it into TM airstrike notepad. It seemed to solve it for me so far in two patrols only one aircraft was spotted.

I'm running NSM 4 and ROW and have had night air attacks since sometime in 1943. I'm in the summer of 1944 now and still have them. I just thought that it was something that happened later in the war and didn't give it much thought. I guess that I forgot about Japanese radar not being as advanced as what we had at the time.
