SUBSIM Review has a longstanding policy against software piracy. We do NOT allow discussion or even mention of warez, abandonware, peer-to-peer game swapping, illegal download sites, or rip-off websites. Nothing will get you banned faster than pointing people to illegal software distribution sites. Don't ask for serial numbers, manuals, or cracks. Any admission that you have in your possession illegal software can and usually will result in revocation of your Radio Room forum account. Support computer game programmers buy legally purchasing their work. They have to eat too, you know.

as long it isnt OFFICIAL by the publisher , we do not talk about Game fixes, got that? you accepted the FAQ&RULES when you joined subsim so live to them

It should not be a petition for a No-DVD patch - it should be a petition for "no-StarF**ce" patch - which will remove Starforce from the game - remove it or replace it with something else (even securom or whatever). The game MUST be protected but not with Starforce!

Guy's, this thread is here to ask UBI to release a legal way of prolonging our SH3 Disc's life. Not to discuss other available methods or ways of doing so.

I would ask that we keep this in mind and only post your agreement to this petition.

If this thread becomes hard work for the moderators then they will just close it & we will have missed our chance.

Please uphold the forum rules and maintain this thread's topic.

and its not a program , its a executable (sometimes others files included)

it doesnt matter if its for legal or illegal purposes
YOU CANNOT TOUCH THE .EXE file!
as soon you do, you broke a rule of the copyrights.
the only ones that can touch the .exe file are the SH dev team themselfs. but no-one who bought the game may touch the .exe
