I used OLC GUI 1.2.7 fpr quite some time and recently installed the Ubermod (mkii2c plus mkiid update). one quick question: why can't i access the aob finder (u-jagd tools) anymore? i click on the wheel but nothing happens

ehhhhh, found the problem!

while reinstalling sh3 gwx and olc mkiid i tested w/o 100% realism (auto targeting ON), which, IIRC disables the aob finder...

Two quick questions:

- Are there larger orders available? For example, the compass is bit too small for my taste.

- The mod enabler says there's a conflict with the WaterStream/Exhaust-Kombimod. Does anyone know if it works or what exactly would not work using these together with the GUI?

And one answer:

Quote:
hm... why do i not see any ships etc. on map (after mkii)
Because it's deactivated with this mod for more realism. You'll have to use the drawing tools at the navigator screen to draw the contacts your bridge crew reports.

There are other GUI mods with larger dials.

Which files are reported as conflicting?

Sorry, my post should have read "aren't there larger dials" - I think one of your earlier versions came with optional large slide-out dials. Are those not supported anymore?

It's Materials.dat

And a big thanks for sticking around to answer all those questions.

No, I never made any larger dials than these.

Materials.dat
I once made that compatible with the water stream mod. It may still be compatible. Try enabling water streams and exhausts first, OLC second. If that works, great. You'll know whether it's working by looking at the water stream and exhaust effects. If you see problems with them then you'll need to enable the mos in the other order (and then you'll get glow in the dark particles).

Hard to picture what you describe. All I mean by GITD particles is that some particles(eg water splashes, smoke) will have the wrong colours and this is most noticable at night (when they appear much too bright).

No idea what could cause what you describe, but if you have mod conflicts then obviously you should try it without the conflicting mod and see if that fixes it.

Looks good so far, I should simply have tried it before blabbering about it here. Sorry about that.

It looks that there is a problem with OLC + ede + lrt still showing repair time (when ltr should disable this)

To repair it (that is, disable time of repair) this options must be changed in menu_1024_768.ini:

[G67 I608]
Type=1040;Scroll text
ItemID=0x67000389
ParentID=0x67000000

^ this options are with disabled time of repair, taken from original Longer repair time mod (The differences are: "Font=14" and "Pos=675,316,34,34")

Even with LRT, there are still repair times displayed. They are just more inaccurate. The vanilla times show exactly how many hours, minutes and seconds the repair will take. With LRT you just get rough times, for example "1 to 8 hours" - If you see these rough times in your game, then that's what it should be like.

Yes, you should get the rough "1 to 8 hours" times with LRT, but with OLC+LRT you still did get the additional hours / minutes / seconds - the changes that I posted earlier disable this, so you have only rough times as in original LRT
