Thanks Comm. Wallace, there's much more to find under "Daryl's house" indeed, and in phantastic quality
![]() @JimBuna i never was a Madonna fan, "but she sure has talent" ![]() »Wondrous stories« is one of the best harmonic tunes i know, Yes has made so completely different songs, unbeliveable diversity. Still have the vinyl LP records, but no system to play it on right now ![]()

Yeah, I think YES are great but their music is an acquired taste....many tracks being so long in terms of lenght/time.

For those of you who have an appreciation of the musical road less traveled, this article appeared in The Los Angeles Weekly this past week. It tells of a near mythical discography of songs and performers who are on the outer fringes of the musical realm entitled the "Nurse With Wound" list. A friend of mine had told me about his obsession with the list a couple of decades ago, but, at the time, I didn't really have much interest in looking it up; apparently I have missed a great deal, although, after looking over the list either own or have heard a good number of the entries:

Thats one long list, only ones Ive listened too before are Capt. Beefheart, Mothers of Invention of course all revolving around Frank Zappa. And who could forget Iggy Pop and The Stooges! The other Im aware of but never listened too was Kraftwerk.
Nice find vienna brings back memories. Gonna have to check out those others to hear what Ive been missing . ![]() Search and Destroy |
