patrol 10.

this patrol is the biggest disaster ever.
fired ALL my torpedo's to 1 SINGLE ARMED TRAWLER!!!!

it just refused to get hit. or the torpedo's hitbut didnt explode

.

returned home and got scolded by Döniz.
got drunk in the tavern on shore next to my sub.

crew was shocked to see me that night lying on my subs deck and talking to her

07 Aug chased sound contact, turned out to be American large tanker
08--09 Aug no contacts.
10 Aug 1743 hrs. Sank 1 Medium tanker, 1 large tanker total 26,000 tons.
20 torpedoes left.

I've never taken my boat through der Kanal in GWX yet, I thought getting in and out of AM92 in 1941 was pretty damn ballsy but you're something else :rotfl:
last time I went anywhere near there in anything bigger than a type II I got mined for my trouble

I'd like to hear your thoughts on taking a IXB or C out of Lorient through gibraltar (and possibly suez (for the truly suezidal) docking in Mogadishu before it falls to the British and going back the way you came.....doable?

well, you've got to admit, that suez canal is there, and it's mighty tempting.....and think about the wonderful tall tales he'll be able to share

I tend to look into these forums from work and seeing him do something like that, that'd make me fall off my chair laughing, that'd be so worth losing a bit of karma for suggesting it, and he did say going through scapa flow got boring.
besides I'm confident(ish) he can actually pull it off

on GWX i went trough the channel just 1ce whitout trouble. those picts are from WAC

and where is suez ? seems verry interesting.

i do this with a IXB type. before my IXB it was a VIIB type
