The USN torpedoes are too reliable (Dec '41).

Hi Captains,

here is the next IJN Destroyer-Class !

The Matsu-Class Destroyer is an small Destroyer Type, build from 1943 to 1945.
Some of them driven until 1971 in several nations like china, US-Navy, Soviet Navy, Royal Navy.
18 Units was finished in that class.
The got asn length from 100 meters over all and with 19.000 hp this class got 27 knots speed.

Want to say thanks to the modders who made this supermod. Being a TMO guy myself, and having used just TMO since it came out, I decided to try this mod from this campaign, and really like the way things look.

A few little inaccuracies but that's fine. Stars on the tails of American planes, which weren't used. Other than that, it's pretty darn decent!

I really like the ship additions you folks have! Nice work there! Nice work!

And the smoke and fire is nice and thick when a ship goes up in flames and you think to yourself, that thing should have have blown out of the water with the concussion! Wow! And that's just my first sortie out from Cavite in the Philippines.
Just got orders to abandon that base, and head for Java as the new homeport. So far, I has an Asashio DD, and Heito Troopship, and a Kongo BB, and went through 6 hours of grueling depthcharging. Got out with no damage to the hull, but the nerves and sweat getcha everytime!

Oh, one quick question, does this supermod include the surface naval battles that took place throughout the Pacific? If so cool, I want to try to have front row seats to them. If not, I'll just ignore those aspects.

Hi Hylander,

there are some historical battles like the battle of midway in the campaign in your version.
In the upgrade iam workin on you can find there historical ships like the IJN Kaga, IJN Akagi !
For this i have worked out more IJN DD-Classes to create more real missions.

Here now the 5 new IJN DD´s in final design :

1.) Matsu Class DD apears in April 1944



2.) The old Kamikaze Class DD



3.) The Mother of Asashio, Kagero and Yugumo Class DD´s, the Akatsuki Class



4.) The third evolution of the Akatsuki Class was the Kagero Class, preceded by the Asashio Class



5.) An big prototyp was the Shimakaze. This DD was the basic layout for the following Akizuki Class.



Ships are done now.
The next part is working out the efects like "red flares" for all Units and some small things on some planes.

I really like your Mod it is awesome! I wonder if the new version will be a full or a patch (a full would be nice) and if you will make a version for those who only have SH 4 1.4 !? Can't wait for the release! Schöne Grüsse!
