Oh look I just found one of Pants. This is his mugshot from last week when he was hauled in for harassing tourists asking them where his patrol grid was and if he'd seen any enemy task forces. I think he's cracked.

Default I'm back, Now thanks for the upcoming divorce.

I was cleaning out my hard drive a few weeks ago and found SH3 was still installed. So after 2 hours finding the DVD, and also finding SH, SH2, Fighting Steel, 688I, Sub Command,Destroyer Command and quite a few others, I started running SH3 again. I sort of got sidetracked with work marriage, new house etc. Then I remembered subsim. Now I had to go and download GW 1.1 and just read this whole thread about GWX. I am amazed, not to mention hooked again. Last night I uninstalled SH3, reinstalled clean and downloaded and installed GW1.1. At 3:00 AM I realized I had to make the 2 hour drive to work at 3:30. I am simply amazed. I was just totally impressed with 1.1 just leaving the port, then I read today about GWX. My wife will be furious, I can see the separation or divorce coming. Man am I going to miss her. This is good stuff.

Will i be able to tick all the boxes except manual TDC and still give me 100% so that i am forced to go all the way back to base . I just cannot do manual TDC and its annoying with TGW1.1a if i tick everything except manual TDC and i dont get 100% .
If you roll back SH3 Commander first, you can change a .cfg file so that the rating doesn't reach 100% even when all options are checked. You'll have to search around a bit to find it.

There is an old country and western song that used to play about 2 years ago... where the wife gave the guy the choice between staying with her or going fishing... and the chorus began with...

"Well I'm gonna miss her... Lookee there... I got a bite!"

Can any of the beta-testers comment on how GWX does for the sub damage model, specifically repair times? Did GWX manage to slow down
the instant repairs that are in stock?:hmm:

I won't comment directly on what has been changed about repair times but there has been an immense amount of work done on damage models for everything. The subs have been dynamically worked over. Ships behave now like a REAL ship in waves. And things have been tweaked so that you can actually bottom your boat without sustaining constant damage.

Hope I didn't spill too much or Kpt. Lehmann will have my balls on a silver platter.
