This file "NBB_BismarkC.tga" contains the swastikas for Bismark & can be edited with a good Graphics editor to the original white dot or Maltese cross etc.

The Bismarck doesn't have to be manually edited. Just download Type941's Kriegsmarine/Bismarck skins and install the one with the grey sheet covering. Then you'll have a nice clean Bismarck.

I think the point here was a mere game played for entertainment mixed with icons relevant to painful memories to ones family shouldnt be mixed together.

If i had a an elder family member in my house who might see me play said game, and who had the relevant experience to bring back painful memories, id remove the swastica's from my game too.

...not to mention that, again, selling games with swastikas is illegal in Germany, period.

I have a question in reguards to swastikas and Germany. Is it legal to show them in German made movies? Say a movie on WW2? I don't recall ever seeing a swastica in Das Boot and was wondering if maybe this was the reason why? I also saw Downfall but can't remember if there were any...

Just curious is all.

Yes. It could be seen several times in "Downfall". I don´t recall a scene in "Das Boot" where it was fully visible, only parts of it on the flag when they returned home.

We have the same law (or approching) in France.

Indeed, the point 3 is exactly the same.

LuisCamoes > For me game is for fun. This game is fun, I like it. It'll be the same game but with japanese or US or wathever other nation, I'll like it too.

But this symbol (the swatiskas), is not a part of fun for me.

Please, respect the opinion of other guys or they thoughts. Thanks.
