The problem is that there doesnÂ´t seem to be a free MP3->WAV converter which can also be used be used via command-line. Ogg is open source and patent-free, so itÂ´s the best way to go.

ItÂ´s not a lossless compression. ItÂ´s like MP3, only better.

I just thought of something. Sorry if this has been discussed earlier.

The in-game music changes according to the 'mood' in the game, right? More dramatic when in battle etc.

Since probably not very many have the music enabled, would it be possible to replace these music files with atmosphere sounds?

So that when in battle, the sounds aboard the sub is more quiet and 'alert' like the one you've already provided, while when in normal cruise there are more sounds like normal background chatter, kitchen noises, walking around etc.?

Come to think of it, maybe these music files don't change in volume according to what station you are in like the atmosphere sound, so this would not work too well? Maybe a combination of the music files and and the atmosphere sound then?

Just a thought.

Anyway the current sound mod is awesome.

Thanks! I really enjoy it! I`m on my first TCx1 patrol and it`s getting boring when it`s all quiet on the boat, but I really enjoy just laying on my bed and listen as my crew do their things!!!
