Its funny, when Cold Waters came out, i bought it, was interested - but never played it, and I cannot tell why. Now, many years later, Sea Power has been released, and I dont play it, because since a few weeks I play Cold Waters like crazy

(and Armoured Brigade 2).

Now must find out about this Dot Mod, and where it is. Dont want all that other platformn playing stuff (well, there is the mentioned Sea Power for that, isn't it, I already own it), but only a more realistic, longer engagement distance at the beginning. Even when just floating around on the strategic map at 5 kn, surface groups especially engage me way too fast and too early when mission is entered. I want to be further out when starting the party.

Found it, downloaded it, and when unzipping it, ESET immediately deletes (not quarantises) Python-related files in it, saying they are so very dangerous. LOL. Okay, I am too old to care for such things that much anymore and endlessly experimenting around. No Dot Mod, but short engagement ranges for me - and maybe sooner or later I migrate to Sea Power anyway.
