Default oh well

With mods, it becomes like a fine wine. You sip it rather than gulp it in.
You begin to appreciate it, not by comparing it to SH III but as a unique entity. You may also have issues due to your equipment.

If things are slow it sounds like a lack in your computer that needs attention.

I just bought SH5 recently i've played SH3 with mods, the game is good but SH5 has better graphics and couple other features which i'm interested on. I've heard the vanilla game sucks but with mods it might be even better than SH3.

The game is probably good with mods but modding it is much harder and more frustrating than SH3. Why? Because you have to download more mods, on SH3 you could just download couple mods like GWX and you were good to go. Downloading 50+ mods is pain in the a** because of Subsim's download limit, now i'm ok with donating even 20$ to download more and support the site but of course it has to be paypal only which i won't be using in my lifetime. So i'm stuck with downloading as a free user which means no mod compilations for me, no easy one file downloads. I have to download every single mod individually and wait days and even weeks because of the download limit and then installing them is going to be tedious and long process.

So yeah that's my little rant. I understand the site needs donations to keep running but it would be nice to have more payment options. Let's be honest here you're not going to be downloading 50+ mods as a free user which means i would have to play ****ty version of SH5 and it's all because of the lack of payment options.

If I may ask, why not? I was against PayPal for awhile but now it is my preferred method of buying online.

You can also donate by mail. If you PM Neal Stevens or email him at subsim@subsim.com he will give you his new address (it's in the process of changing at the moment.

But you don't have to donate. Downloads are also tied to post count. Become an active member of the community and watch your download count rise!
