Heatwave UK

Quote:
Britain set for two-week heatwave

Britain is heading for a sizzling two-week heatwave with temperatures set to soar into the nineties, forecasters predicted today.
The sun was expected to blaze across the country over the next fortnight, with London, the south east and the Midlands catching the most rays.
British Weather Services expert Jim Dale said: "We're going to hit the magical figure of 90F (32C)."

I checked the 5 day forecast and at very best for London on Wenesday 75F then going down.

32C a Heatwave.

Try a 3 week period with top temps over 40C and lows of 32C and see how you go.

I exchange your heat wave by our cold front! Still no summer temperatures around here (still 20ºC)!

In Norway, 20C degrees is a miracle. You keep all the good weather, you can get our summer heat for your rain. I hate the sun and the heat it produces, it burns...a lot.

If I left the washing for the wife to do I'd have very little to wear, although why should she do it when she works full time (and some) and I'm only part time.

At least if I'm doing it it gets washed my way and not everything at 30C like her indoors would do.

So you are saying you don't like your knickers getting steamy?

23-26°C is really quite adequate for an airshow, much hotter and it gets quite uncomfortable. Personally I'd be happier about 18°.
