Britain set for two-week heatwave

Britain is heading for a sizzling two-week heatwave with temperatures set to soar into the nineties, forecasters predicted today.
The sun was expected to blaze across the country over the next fortnight, with London, the south east and the Midlands catching the most rays.
British Weather Services expert Jim Dale said: "We're going to hit the magical figure of 90F (32C)."

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: 32C a Heatwave.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Try a 3 week period with top temps over 40C and lows of 32C and see how you go.

It was 93F here the other day. The good news? Humidity was 9%.

Now the Daily Express is saying the same thing, just saw it on the news! :huh:

In Norway, 20C degrees is a miracle. You keep all the good weather, you can get our summer heat for your rain. I hate the sun and the heat it produces, it burns...a lot.

I just now realized it's a poll, and I'm offended. Where are the "I live/don't live in the UK and I don't care" buttons?

Great British weather, rain rain, rain and more bloody rain :nope: but at least I get wet on the inside as well as out :haha:

Ah! an honest man!:up:

Daily Mail...they are about as accurate as the Express when it comes to weather. We might get a week or two of warm weather early next month or in August, but I think this summer is going to be a fairly low key affair.
Still, don't forget that March 2012 was unseasonably warm, and it was only seven years ago that we got whalloped by a record-breaker.
In the grand scheme of things, seven years is nothing.

Just dusting off the Crystal ball....

I see a boiling hot heatwave with a good helping of fog with a sudden down pour of rain that will over flow the rivers causing country wide flooding which in turn will freeze over as the whole country is hit by a snow blizzard lasting days pushing the temperature's down to -5. We can expect high winds to no winds and the odd freaky weather patten like the odd tornado here and there.

Just another day in the British Isles then...
